Use the list below to navigate specific topics about Family Feud.

How to play

Family Feud, which launched in 1976 and has been going strong to this day across countries worldwide, is an iconic trivia game show based on real survey responses! In this Arkadium version, you respond to different questions by using your keyboard to write the words you'd like to respond with. The game will present you with a variety of questions, with a limited amount of time to respond. Say the first thing that comes to mind!

The Game. You will see various questions appear. Use your keyboard to write the answers to these questions. Write what comes to mind, as the clock will be ticking. The player with the most approved answers will win the most points. Each question has multiple answers, but the top answers (that were selected most frequently by the game's survey respondents) provide the most points.

NOTE: if you are fast enough to answer first, you'll receive 10 bonus points in your total score

Goal. After the first three rounds of the game, the player with the highest total points wins Family Feud and moves on to the "Fast Money" round to earn additional points!

Fast Money round. "Fast Money" is a series of five questions that use the same format as the first three rounds, but each question has a different topic and you only have one guess.

NOTE: if all your answers are worth more than 100 points combined, you win 500 more bonus points

How to report a question

If you've come across an inappropriate question or answer, you can always report it. It is the fastest way to bring our attention to the problem.

Here is how to do this:

1. Click Report Question after the round ends.

2. Select the Reason for report and leave your Comment about the question. Then click Submit.

Scoring

General scoring. Here is how the scoring works in Family Feud:

Every question has 3-6 answers that are worth a total of 80 - 100 points.

All points from the second round are doubled, and all points from the third round are tripled.

Fastest bonus. Finding an answer before your opponent awards a 10-point "Fastest" bonus.

Perfect round. Finding every answer in the round awards a 50-point "Perfect round" bonus.

Fast Money round. Any individual answer in "Fast Money" is worth 0-49 points. Scoring over 100 points in Fast Money awards a final 500-point bonus.

Maximum score. The highest possible score in the game is 2,005 points.

Round 1 = 100 points + 60 (6 answers) fastest bonus + 50 perfect bonus = 210.

Round 2 = 200 points + 120 (6 answers) fastest bonus + 100 perfect bonus = 420.

Round 3 = 300 points + 180 (6 answers) fastest bonus + 150 perfect bonus = 630.

Fast Money = 245 (5 top answers worth 49 points) + 500 bonus = 745.

Using Gems

Reveal. You can use gems in Family Feud to access special clues.

Unsure of what word to write as the answer? The Reveal option allows you to see one letter from the answer, so that your guesses become that much easier.

Access the Reveal option by clicking in the eye icon below the answer board.
