How to play


Journey Match 3D is a fun new experience from Arkadium. Match three-dimensional objects from a pile while relying on gravity to push them out of the way as you match more and more. As the piles of objects get busier and busier, you'll see all kinds of different obstacles.


Unlike other puzzle matching games online, in Journey Match 3D, you match sets of three identical items to clear them from your board. You must do it before the timer above the game runs out.



The objects you match are added to the stock you see below, which can take up to 7 objects. If the stock fills up with more than 7 objects, the game is over. You must make sure that you make a match of 3 before you fill up the stock completely.




After matching all of the items, you'll be granted with a final results screen, where you'll have a ranking based on the time you've taken to complete the level. You'll be able to continue playing or save your progress.




Any item that isn't part of your goals is considered junk. You can clear junk from your board by matching it in threes. The more junk you clear, the closer you get to revealing your goal items. Be sure to do it entirely before the time runs out.





Here is an explanation of the main menu of the game, where you'll be able to access all of the options.


  • Life Bar tells you how many tries you still have left to accomplish a level.
  • Coins will tell you how many coins you currently have. You can access the Store here to buy coins and items with Gems.
  • Profile allows you to sign into your profile. You should see your avatar picture if you're signed in.
  • Settings takes you to the settings menu.
  • Star Chest marks the stars you've earned so far in the game. Earn enough stars and be rewarded with items.
  • Level Chest marks the levels you've completed so far in the game. Complete enough and be rewarded with items.



When opening the settings menu, you may turn on and off the Sound and Music of the game, and you can also access our Support website, which you're reading this on right now.




Tips


The use of Power-ups is important to the game, to help you solve the trickier levels. You can select them from the bottom of the game, next to the Pause button.



  • Use the Magnet to collect up to 3 goal items. 

  • Make a wrong move? Use Undo to remove the last item from the bar. 

  • Use the Fan to shuffle the hidden items and reveal ones stuck underneath the pile

  • Stop the clock for 10 seconds with Freeze Time.



After going through a few levels, you'll unlock Boosts. Unlike Power-ups, these can be activated before a level.


  • The Fireworks boost removes nine junk items from the pile.

  • The Hourglass boost adds 30 seconds to your clock.


You can earn new Power-ups and Boosts by completing the Star and Level chests. By collecting 10 of either, you can tap the completed chest for a surprise gift of items.




Progression


Journey Match 3D will automatically save all of the progress you've accomplished when you stop playing for the day. All of the levels, items, background elements and other things will be waiting for you when you return to the game again. You can not replay levels because of this.


Because Journey Match 3D is a progress-driven game that features the choice to use paid elements to aid progression, the progress in the game cannot be erased to start all the way from the beginning.


However, if you absolutely feel like you need to erase your progression, please follow these steps:


 Warning: This will completely eliminate your progression. You will not be able to regain progress, even if you've spent Gems in adquiring progress items.

- Sign out of your account, on your current browser
- Open the game once more, and it will start from the beginning
- Sign into your account after playing through the tutorial (while having the game on)
- The game will prompt you to select your storage to keep progressing (cloud or device)
- Choosing "device" will allow you to start at level 1 again, from the beginning


Please understand that by using this method to erase your progression, you cannot recover it, even if you've used paid elements.



Scoring


This game does not have the typical scoring of other games in the website. The objective of the game is to progress through the levels and discover new ones, as a "Journey". As such, no scores are posted on the website leaderboard.
