BACK TO THE GAME

This article contains everything you need to know about Arkadium’s Zoo Boom Game.

Use the list below to navigate specific topics about Zoo Boom.

How to play

Zoo Boom is a fun tile-matching game. You can match animal tiles in clusters of the same type in order to clear them, and complete the objectives while using the number of moves you have available. You might be familiar with this kind of game if you've played Crystal Collapse.

To fulfill the objectives, look for clusters of the same animal that appear together. As long as there's two or more, you can click on the cluster.

By clicking on the cluster, the tiles are removed from the board and added to your score.

The tiles above them will then fall into the added space.

This is how it should function:

Here is the game's main screen.

  1. Moves. This is the number of moves you have to play with. Each time you play, the counter will go down a single move. Run out, and the game is over.
  2. Rating. This is the game's rating bar. As the bar goes up, you'll be able to earn more stars at the end of the level. The more stars you have, the more bonuses you can earn.
  3. Objective. This is the level's objective. In this case, the player has to clear 18 elephants.
  4. Board. This is where the game occurs. In later levels, the board may be divided into different sections. Although divided, the rules apply and the tiles will still fall.
  5. Options. Click here to access the game's options.

In the game's options, you can turn the sound and music on and off, change your language or exit the game.

Obstacles

The game's objectives aren't just clickable tiles. Sometimes, obstacles may appear.

Coin. Click on clusters of tiles around it to make it disappear.

Statue. Statues need to be dropped all the way down to break. Clear the tiles under it until it's at the bottom of the board.

Cage. Match the animals inside them with others to break the cages. Be careful, whichever animal under it drops, the top animal will be stuck inside.

Box. Match the animals around them with others to break the boxes. However, boxes will not fall down like the animals.

NOTE: There are many other surprise obstacles to find as you keep playing!

Boosters

At times, you may use boosts to help your game. These can be obtained by clicking on clusters with a booster symbol, or through watching an ad at the beginning of the game.

These ducks have a Bee symbol. You can click on this cluster to form a Bee.

Bee. This booster will eliminate a vertical or horizontal line, depending on where it's turned.

Skunk. This booster will remove an entire 3x3 area of blocks surrounding it.

Rainbow. This boster is automatically assigned to one animal. It will remove all of the animals of the same type from the board.

Power-Ups

You can also save up power-ups to help you get an edge in the game. These will be collected and saved to your inventory, so that you can use them at any time.

Net. The net can remove any specific tile from the board.

Rocket. It can remove an entire horizontal line from the game, like the horizontal Bee.

Drill. It can remove an entire vertical line from the game, like the vertical Bee.

Die. This power-up rearranges all of the tiles on the board and groups them together, making it easier to match.

Coins

You will automatically obtain more coins while you play. Although you can obtain more coins by clicking on the ad symbol on the top right.

This will take you to the store menu. By selecting the ad tab, you can watch ads for coins.

You can also purchase items in exchange for coins in the bag tab.

Items and coins will be available in the Level and Star chests, accessible from the main menu. These chests will open once you've scored enough stars, or finished enough levels.

Scoring

Although the Zoo Boom game has a scoring system, it functions within its own level and reward system and will not post any scores to the website leaderboard.
