This article contains everything you need to know about Arkadium’s Swipe Puzzle City.

Use the list below to navigate specific topics about Swipe City.

Swipe City is a relaxing, easy-to-understand game that still offers challenges to keep you engaged. Simply swipe and match similar objects to clear tiles, earn points, and unwind. With every level, the game becomes more enjoyable and satisfying. It's a quick break you can give yourself to recharge, or you can play for longer, depending on your comfort and available time.

How to play

Playing Swipe City is easy. In this game, we swipe objects of the same type together, to make matches. A match of three objects makes them disappear. Once you match all objects, the puzzle is completed.

Let's take a look at how a normal level of Swipe City can be.

First, we start with the level Objectives. These are the matches you must make within the level to reach the end.

The level itself will look a bit like this. Right away, you'll see possible matches you can make, and others you won't be able to.

The leaf icon above seems to be matchable with the two below. So swipe it down, and you can match all three.

Next, the three books seem to be unimpeded. Why don't we try matching them?

And finally, with the obstacles out of the way, we can match the traffic cones. These will need two swipes.

And with this, the puzzle's complete! You'll receive a final score screen, where you'll be rated as to the time you've completed the puzzle in, and receive rewards, such as Coins.

There are also other obstacles you'll encounter later in the game, such as Arrows. These will automatically change the course of any tile you'll swipe on top of them.

As you play through the game, you'll notice a timer on top. Below the timer, and the player avatar, you'll see a bar of stars that goes down slowly. As it descends, the stars you can achieve by finishing the puzzle also go down. The faster you complete the puzzle, the more stars you can score.

Below the game, you'll also see the Tips icon. In exchange for Coins, this handy guide will show you how to complete the puzzle.

This is the game's main menu.

  1. Coins. This is your coin counter, it will tell you the coins you currently have.
  2. Life. This is your life counter, it tells you how many tries you still have. If you run out of tries, you'll have to wait until they recharge.
  3. Settings. These are the game options. You can change several different settings such as the game's sound and music.
  4. Lucky Spin. Here, you'll be able to spin the wheel to gain a reward of coins or temporary infinite lives.
  5. Levels. These are where you proceed through the main game.

Levels will have a 3-point star system to mark your rating. You'll be able to see the levels you've completed marked in gold. The level you're in at the moment will be marked in purple. The levels you haven't unlocked yet, are in grey.

Levels marked with a skull will be Hard Levels. These will grant you with a harder challenge, as well as a higher score.

At times, your way will be blocked. Finish the level with the key to unlock the rest of the map.

Scoring

The Swipe City game has no scoring system. There is no way to save score in the Swipe City game. This game is meant to be a fun puzzle game, without a specific scoring system or leaderboard. The game is incompatible with the regular competitive Arkadium leaderboards, and it's meant for simple fun progression.
