Use the list below to navigate specific topics about One Line.
One Line is a simple game about solving different problems with only a single line. You'll go through several different situations where you can prevent things from happening to the Character in each level. Preventing the problems from happening, will move you to the next level.
How to play
In One Line, the objective is to protect the Character from all sorts of problems and dangers.
The Character exists in every level. He's usually represented by a little man dressed in a red t-shirt and jeans. Something extremely bad is about to happen to him, and you can help him escape the danger.
Let's take a look at the first level of the game, as an example. The Character is in danger, because the three spiked balls are about to fall on him. You can save him by drawing a line with your mouse.
But what kind of line will you draw? Take into account that One Line uses actual real world physics and weight. So if you draw a simple line, it will fall on the Character, crushing him and failing the level.
So what can you do to keep the line from falling and save the character? Why not draw it wide enough to fit between both walls?
There, we saved the Character! Successfully solving each puzzle like this, completes the level. Each level has an entirely different situation to solve, each of them introducing completely different elements and situations.
If you want to disable the sound in the game, you can click on the Sound Icon on the top right.
If you feel stuck, you can watch an ad in exchange for a Hint. Selecting a hint will let you know where to draw the line to save the Character!
For Subscribers, the option to play the ad will still make an advertisement appear in exchange for the hint. Hints in the game are an extra addition and not included in the game's core progression design. Due to this, our ad-free subscription does not include them.
After watching the ad, you'll see a dotted line as a hint on where you should draw the line.
Tips
These tips will help you solve some of the puzzles.
Physics. Don't forget that the game has real physics. The moment you draw the line, it will fall in the direction it's most likely to go to. Think of the line you draw as a real object that appears in the level when you draw it.
Timer. Don't forget that your solution only has to work for the duration of the timer. The timer will count down 3 seconds after you draw the line. If the line keeps the character safe during that time, you will be successful!
Long lines. You're only allowed one single line per level, but you can make it quite long. Use this advantage to create a wide enough object to solve your problem.
Enjoy yourself and have fun, as you have as many attempts as you want to solve the level.
Scoring
One Line has no scoring system. This game is meant to be a short progression-based puzzle game, without a specific scoring system or leaderboard. The game is incompatible with the regular competitive Arkadium leaderboards, and it's meant for simple fun progression.
