How to play
Hex Puzzle Adventure is a fun matching game where you drag hex piles to match colored chips. These piles have different colors of chips, to be matched in the board with chips of the same color.
You drag chip piles to a board by clicking and dragging them with your mouse, where they will automatically shift to the larger chip pile of the same color. They will only match with directly connected piles on the board.
Piles with multiple colored chips can be placed next to stacks of multiple colors. If you match them well, you can get several of your different colored piles to stack with connected chip piles.
After enough chips have been gathered in a single pile, all of the chips of the same color will clear.
After enough chips have been cleared to match the top objective, you will finish the level.
Finishing the level will give you the number of chips you've collected, as well as a reward of coins.
The game's structure is as shown here:
You will find Locked Tiles on the board. These tiles can be used once these scores are reached in the objective.
You will also find Ad Tiles. While these tiles are not supposed to be used as a part of the game's level design, they're made available in exchange for watching an ad, to make the game easier.
The game also has 3 different Boosts to use:
The Hammer will remove any of the stacks on the board.
The Reset will renew all 3 currently available piles to use.
The Hand will give you the ability to move any of the piles on screen to a different location on the board.
All of these boosts can be purchased with coins. Coins are earned from finishing levels, and from the Coins Menu on the top right.
The Coins Menu will provide you free coins through watching ads. The first 5 coins are for free, and you can choose to continue collecting coins, by watching ads for 10, 15 and 25 more coins each time. The larger amounts require the smaller amounts to be redeemed.
After claiming them, you will see a timer. After the timer is done, you'll be able to claim them again.
The Settings icon allows you to change the settings.
At the moment, the only available setting is turning off the sound, by using the sound icon.
Each level of the game takes place in a world. Levels that have been completed, will have their own icons. Levels you're currently in will have a Star. You can see levels you've yet to reach with Locks. Play previous levels to unlock them.
The heart on top represents your number of Lives. You lose a life every time you lose a level, or quit a level in the middle. If you lose all your lives, you have to wait for them to recharge.
You can select any of the levels you like, or click on Play Next to play the next level. When you complete all levels in a world, you can access the next one. More of the world will be visible as you play.
Tips
While the stacking system in Hex Puzzle Adventure feels a bit confusing when you start to play it, the game is quite simple. Here are some tips to get you started.
Check all stacks. While you may have a large stack that seems unmanageable, you can always split it between different stacks of different colors. Pay close attention to the stacks on the board.

Take your time. There's no timer on Hex Puzzle Adventure. Take your time to appreciate each puzzle for what it is, and check what you can do to solve it.
Remember your coins. The Coin Menu reloads every few hours. Remember to always check to be able to redeem more coins from it.
Use the board. There's large space available on the game board. Make sure to set up your stacks for some large matching combinations.
Scoring
Hex Puzzle Adventure doesn't have a scoring system that is is compatible with our leaderboards. This game is meant to be a short progression-based puzzle game, with focus on level completion. The game is meant for simple fun progression and not for score achievement or competitivity.
