BACK TO THE GAME

This article contains everything you need to know about Arkadium’s Mega Jump Game.

Use the list below to navigate specific topics about Mega Jump.

How to play

Mega Jump is an endless jumping game, where you use your left and right keys on your keyboard, or swipe on your phone, to continue jumping with the character on the screen, to reach higher and higher ground, and get through levels.

As the character, you have to navigate through coins, which will take you higher on the screen, as shown below.

The game has a large number of elements, so let's start with the icons. On the top, you'll be able to see the number of coins you've collected, as well as your score. On the bottom, you can pause the game with the left icon, and the number of stars you have will be on the right. Stars can be used to retry the game when you lose.

When pausing, you'll be able to see your progress until the next level. Click Play to go back to the game.

While not all of the game's items will be described here, let's go through the main ones:

Coins are the game's main element. The character must move from side to side to collect them to keep moving up. As long as you keep on collecting coins, you will continue moving upwards. While normal coins with a yellow interior will remain still, blue ones will move horizontally, red ones will be worth twice the points, and ones with a mean face will avoid you.

By collecting coins, you can gain Mega Points. This is the currency used in Mega Jump, and it can be used in the main menu's score for different purchases, or to access different worlds.

You can also find Boost Stars. Boost Stars propell the player upwards further than coins, while granting the player with brief invincibility. They are, from weakest to strongest, yellow, green, blue, and red. When the player collects a boost star, the character will have a trail of dust following it, correpsonding to the star touched.

Stars or Save Stars are used to retry the game if you fail. When you lose, you can trade these stars to keep on playing. You can purchase these stars from the main's store with Mega Points.

Make sure to avoid Spikes and other hazards. These will take away your coins.

You will also be able to activate Power-Ups. These have different effects in the game.

  • Magnet: Attracts coins. This is very useful to keep going along the stage without much movement.

  • Anti-Gravity Boots: Gives the character the ability to walk on the edge of the screen.

  • Fireball: Launches you upward quickly, great for covering ground.

  • Balloon: Slows your ascent, helping you plan your path better.

There are many other hazards and power-ups to discover as you play the game!

When starting the game, you can click on the upper left icon for the Options menu, where you can disable the sound and music of the game. You can also click Worlds to select which world of the game you'd like to play in, and Store to purchase different items. The bottom link will provide you free Mega Points in exchange for watching an ad.

In the Worlds menu, you can unlock different worlds to play in and choose in exchange for Mega Points.

In the Store menu, you can purchase different player characters, level up your powers, or purchase Save Stars. All purchases are made using Mega Points you earn in the game.

Tips

1. Prioritize Coin Collection

  • Coins act as fuel to keep you moving upward. Missing too many can result in falling.

  • Try to aim for clusters of coins instead of single ones.

2. Avoid Obstacles

  • Red monsters will knock you down if you touch them.

  • Keep an eye on the screen above to anticipate upcoming dangers.

  • Time your movements carefully when enemies are present.

3. Upgrade Your Abilities

  • Use collected coins to buy upgrades like magnet power-ups or longer boosts.

  • A coin magnet is especially helpful for easier collection.

4. Master Controlled Movements

  • Using quick movements too much can make you miss coins or hit obstacles.

  • Try to keep movements smooth and precise rather than jerky.

Scoring

Mega Jump is a fun endless jumping game that focuses on level progression rather than score, and for this reason, it doesn't use our regular leaderboards.
