Use the list below to navigate specific topics about Bubble Town.
How to play
Bubble Town is a match-3 game just like our own Bubble Shooter. However, it has a whole slew of brand new features, and can be played level by level as you progress through the game. The objective is to match 3 or more bubbles of the same type, to bring them down. Simply aim with your mouse, and click to fire.
On the top right of the game, you'll see the level number, as well as buttons to mute the game sounds or pause the game.
In the bottom, you'll be able to see your level score, and the amount of bubbles still in the tube. These are the bubbles you shoot out. Make sure to pop all of the bubbles you can before the shots in the tube run out. You can swap out between your two last bubbles by clicking on them.
Using all the bubbles in the tube will lower the ceiling. If the ceiling lowers enough so that the bubbles will hit the yellow zone, you will lose.
During the game, you'll also get special boost bubbles. For example, the Hotfoot will blow apart several bubbles and add them to your tube.
There are several different boosts to discover as you play through the game. Try to use them all!
Sureshot - Perfect accuracy in your next 3 shots with an aim
BubbleBubble - Turns all the bubbles it hits into one color
Hotfoot - Clears all the bubbles in its path
Plunger - Grabs an item from the board and places it on your cannon
Wild - Can be matched with any color on the board
There's also hazards that block your way.
Shrouds - Can be blown away by a bubble of any color
Sleeping Bubbles - Can be woken up by a bubble of the same color
Crates - Can be hit twice to reveal a boost
Bomb - Match it with the same color to explode
Lump - Match bubbles around it to drop it
Rubber Lubber - Can't be taken out by direct hits, they will slip off
Jelly Fishy - Covers other bubbles, can be knocked off
Tips
1. Use the Walls to Bounce
Bank shots off walls to reach tricky angles. This is crucial for bubbles buried behind obstacles or tight clusters.
Mastering angles gives you a huge edge.
2. Aim for the Weak Point
Don’t just match bubbles—target the "hanging point" where many bubbles are connected. Hitting that spot drops a whole group.
3. Take Your Time
The game doesn't have a time limit. Take a moment to analyze the board before each shot.
4. Drop Instead of Pop
Instead of popping every group, try to detach large sections by hitting their weak spot. This clears more space and is more efficient.
5. Know When to Sacrifice
Sometimes using a turn to clear a bad angle or make space is better than forcing a weak match.
6. Use items wisely
Learn the types of items and what works best about different types of enemies.
Scoring
Bubble Town has no scoring system. This game is meant to be a Match-3 Bubble Shooting game, without a specific scoring system or leaderboard. The game is incompatible with the regular competitive Arkadium leaderboards, and it's meant for simple fun progression.
