How to play
Supermarket Sort is a fun organization game about matching different items you can purchase at the supermarket. By placing together different tiles containing various items, the same items will come together when placed in tiles next to one another.
The item trays come from the bottom.
You have to place the item trays into the available tray spaces on top, by dragging and dropping.
You do this, to match the objective items that exist on top.
This needs to be done before the timer runs out.
By fulfilling objectives, you will advance from stage to stage of a level, as indicated by the "1-2-3" numbers on the bottom of the objective. Take the necessary items and the objective will clear.
If you've finished all of the objectives, you can advance to the next level.
Green Blocks may block your way in some levels. Clear them by clearing trays of 3 next to them.
Question mark boxes have other supermarket trays inside them with mystery items. Clear them by clearing trays of 3 next to them.
You will have several different Boosts you can use. These can be exchanged for watching ads.
Time Freeze will freeze the timer during the rest of the turn.
Bomb will eliminate a space in the trays if you have a lack of space to use.
Shuffle will give you brand new trays to use.
By clicking on the settings icon, you'll be able to access the Settings Menu.
In this menu, you'll find options to continue and restart a level, to control the sound and music, and to change the language of the game.
Tips
These tips will help you solve some of the puzzles.
Blockers. Many levels will give you very little space to work with. Focus on clearing some blocks first, and then on the necessary objective items.
Boosts. Don't forget that you'll always have your three boosts handy. Make sure to use them when needed, in particular when the timer's giving you trouble.
Queue. Don't forget that the game shows all of your next items in the queue. Plan ahead according to what you'll receive in the game.
Setting Up. When starting a level, set up specific items on specific sections of the stage. This way, you'll be able to funnel all of the similar items in one direction.
Scoring
Supermarket Sort's scoring system is incompatible with our leaderboards. This game is meant to be a short progression-based puzzle game, with scores limited to each level, which makes them impossible to post on a main leaderboard, as the scores are per-level. The game is meant for simple fun progression.
