BACK TO THE GAME

This article contains everything you need to know about Arkadium’s Blockables Game.

Use the list below to navigate specific topics about Blockables.

How to play

Blockables is a fun daily puzzle game to solve a 3x3 word block puzzle, finding 3 words that form a larger one.

On the right, you'll see clues for the three different words in the puzzle. Each clue will have the number of letters in each word alongside it. You can type your ideas for what they might be in the "Jot Ideas" section. As an example, the first clue is "FWD".

On the left, you'll see the grid. Each number on the grid corresponds to the first letter of a word. That word's letters are then distributed, not always in order, by the same colored blocks. Answer letters must neighbour preceeding letters.

Do you see the arrows? Those arrows point to how the 3 words, will make up one FULL word when placed together. That word is displayed on the bottom, like so, with the currently selected title highlighted:

You can see a tip for what the full word is by checking the top of the page:

You have Check and Reveal options on top to check if typed letters are correct, or to reveal unseen words.

With these helpers, you can find the word and the way the letters fit for each of the different words in the puzzle.

Tips

Here is how to get better at Blockables.

1. Skim Clues First

Start by reading all the clues to get a feel for patterns—short and long words, likely prefixes/suffixes, and repeated letters. That mental map lets you slot answers more efficiently.

2. Prioritize Common Letters

Begin with words containing frequent letters like E, A, R, S, T, or N. These are likelier to appear and help reveal valuable intersections early.

3. Work Long Words First

Longer answers often span more of the final word. Filling them early helps anchor the phrase structure and makes shorter clue-solving easier.

4. Use Idea Section

The section to jot down ideas will help you keep track of each word's letters to fill in the puzzle.

And make sure to have fun!

Scoring

Blockables has no scoring system. This game is meant to be a fun daily puzzle game, without a specific scoring system or leaderboard. The game is incompatible with the regular competitive Arkadium leaderboards, and it's meant for simple fun progression.
