How to play
Word Fishing is a fun game where you fish for letters to make a word. It's very simple to play, but hard to master.
When starting, you can check the game's sound settings on the top right, on the musical note. On the badge icon, you can check your achievements in the game. Click on "Play!" to start.
When starting the game, you'll see letters below, and a word above. It's your objective to fish the letters in the pond to make the lake.
The moves available to you are on the top left. Make sure to finish the level before running out of moves.
You also have a timer. Be sure to finish the level before the time runs out.
However, when fishing letters, you'll gather all letters included in the circle, so be careful. Try and fish only the relevant letters.
Irrelevant letters will be added to the trash. Go over the trash limit and you will lose. You can upgrade the trash by using coins you earn along the game..
What do you do when letters are far too close to one another, and you can't help but gather ones that don't matter? This is when you "push" the letters. Click the right mouse button to move the letters in the shown direction the arrows point. You can aim them as you like.
Once you've gotten all the letters of the word, you'll have passed the level.
At the end of the level, the score result will appear. In the next level, both the time and moves will be carried on.
A store is available to you once you gather 200 coins. The Store will give you plenty of items to use when you unlock it.
The Basket allows you to use a letter from the basket for the word. The Map will highlight the useful letters on the pond. The Ticket will give you a useful gift. The Bomb will remove all letters from the basket.
Coins are useful to buy items. You can get more by playing the game or opening Treasure Chests.
Levels can have different effects. Make sure to look out for different obstacles.
Tips
Here are some tips on how to play better.
Getting Started
Make sure to always look for each letter on the word at the start. View where they are on the level so you can better get them later.
Getting several letters at a time is sometimes worth getting a trash letter, provided you are able to clear it.
Strategy & Progression
Focus on what technique works for you. Items aren't as valuable as keeping the trash empty, so upgrade when you can.
The timer is usually generous, so make sure to focus on how many turns you have left.
Advanced Techniques
Once you get good at it, you can try pushing the letters to where you like, like playing pool.
The bomb is by far the most valuable item in the game, but make sure to use it when it matters.
Scoring
Word Fishing has no scoring system. This game is meant to be a simple letter-finding game, without a specific scoring system or leaderboard. The game is incompatible with the regular competitive Arkadium leaderboards, and it's meant for simple fun progression.
