This article contains everything you need to know about Arkadium’s Jelly Blast Pro Game.
Use the list below to navigate specific topics about Jelly Blast Pro.
How to play
Jelly Blast Pro is a tile-matching game of perpetually-moving tiles, where you have to click or tap paired tiles of the same type to make them disappear. But be careful, the tiles will be moving up faster and faster as you play, and if they reach the top, you lose the game.
To start the game, you can choose between Classic Mode and Daily Marathon. Classic mode will provide you with the regular level-based game, while Daily Marathon will give you a challenge each day to earn Stars.
You can check settings on the top left, and mute sound and music if you wish. You will be able to check your currently earned stars on the top right.
Your highest score will be placed just below the game title, while your choice of mode will be down below.
In Classic Mode, you will have levels to progress. Each level will have a set of goals to complete. These goals will be clearing a specific amount of tiles in the level.
The level will have the objectives and level number set up top. You'll be able to see how many tiles you've cleared. You'll also be able to see your score on the bottom right.
As the tiles rise, you need to select groups of the same tile placed next to one another. As you click on them, they will disappear. White blocks cannot be matched. They need other blocks next to them to disappear.
Clicking on groups with a special icon will give you a Boost. These boosts will make it easier for you to clear blocks.
As you can see below, clicking on the block section changes the blocks into a boost, and clicking on the boost clears a large number of blocks.
If you get two Boosts together, they will unite to form a massive chain.
Here is what each Boost does:
Line: Depending on which side the red parts on this boost are turned to, it can destroy a horizontal or vertical line.
Bomb: This boost will destroy a square area of blocks.
Mine: This boost targets all blocks of the same color of those it's attached to.
Should you need a helping hand at a moment's notice, you can also exchange Gems for a bomb, on the bottom left.
Be careful! The blocks can't reach the top red line, or it's game over.
If you get a game over, you'll see your final score.
In Marathon Mode, the game will work much like Classic Mode. You will, however, have a strict set of rounds to play through. If you finish them successfully by completing goals, you'll earn Stars.
Tips
Here are a few strategies on how to improve at the game:
Understand the objectives first
Always check what the level wants: clear all jellies, get a certain number of special pieces, clear obstacles (ice, wood, etc.), collect items, etc. Tailor your moves toward that, not just making big matches for points.Watch for the top
Since the game is always on the move, be fast. Don't worry too much about combos if the lines are moving with great speed. Focus on tile control first, expert combos later.Build & save power-ups / boosters
The game gives you plenty of great boosters, try to save them for moments when you can maximize impact: when there are many obstacles, or near the target pieces, or to cause chain reactions. Using them too early might waste their potential.Watch for combo opportunities
Sometimes combining two boosters (bomb + line clear, etc.) gives way more effect than using them separately. Position them so they can be combined if possible. Also keep an eye on patterns that could create a booster on your next turn.Clear obstacles early
If there are blockers, try to deal with them early so they don’t limit your options later. Obstacles often constrain your possible moves.Focus on “hard to reach” areas
Corners, edges, or spots blocked by obstacles are often hardest to clear. If you can, target them early, especially using boosters, so you don’t end up stuck with unpleasant leftovers when moves are tight.Plan moves ahead
Don’t just make the first good match you see; think two or three moves ahead. What effect will your current move have on the layout? Could it set up a booster, or open up options, or avoid isolating some pieces?
Scoring
Jelly Blast Pro doesn't use our regular leaderboards. It functions within its own system and as such, does not have a specific scoring segment to be placed on Arkadium leaderboards.
