How to play
Endless Lake is an endless runner game, where you navigate a character through platforms over a lake.
When beginning, you will see your currently available coins on top of the screen. Clicking on Play starts the game, and clicking on Shop accesses the game's shop. Clicking on the sound icon below mutes and unmutes the sound.
While in the game's shop, you can purchase skins for your character by using the coins you've earned from playing. You can also purchase coins by using Gems or watching ads.
The only two controls in the game, are click and double click (tap and double tap if you're playing while using a mobile device). Clicking once will allow you to jump, and clicking twice while the character is still in the air allows you to double jump, reaching farther distances.
In this game, you control a small character crossing over a river bridge. You must click or tap to jump across the small bridge segments that are out while collecting coins. The character will move automatically, all you have to do is jump.
You have to be careful and have good timing when playing, or you'll fall through the spaces on the bridge.
There will be hazards in the game as well as the missing bridge sections. This is a Splitter. These doors will split the character into several ones and you will have to control several characters at once with the same input. Just make sure they all get to the path where they unite again safely.
The bar on top will raise as you're playing. When it's full, you'll pass to the next level.
On your left, you'll find your score, which raises for every second the level goes on. You'll see a multiplier if you've achieved a boost, and your best score on the bottom.
You can also see the pause icon on the right, as well as how many coins you've collected.
The game over screen shows you the final score, and provides you the option to continue from the latest level with a booster (by watching an ad) or starting from the beginning.
When retrying with a booster, you'll roll for a random one. You will have boosters such as score doubling or safer floors on the level.
You'll also have the same ability when getting through a level successfully.
Tips
Here are some strategies on how to improve at Endless Lake:
The double jump doesn’t reset momentum, it only extends your airtime — practice using it to correct mistakes mid-air.
Don’t waste your double jump immediately after jumping; save it for when you realize you might fall short
Don’t fixate on the gap in front of you — your brain can handle that automatically.
- Scan ahead to see if there’s a sequence of short + long gaps — you’ll need different jump combos (single vs. double).
- Don’t mash buttons; precision beats speed every time.
- Avoid jumping early unless you’re unsure about the next platform’s distance.

Scoring
The game's scoring system is incompatible with the Arkadium leaderboard system. As such, it will not be marked on the website's leaderboards.
