How to play
Solitaire Farm Seasons plays just like any Solitaire game. There's a detailed tutorial when starting out that details everything you need to know about the game.
To play, you have to pick cards directly one rank higher or lower those shown below to remove them from play.
In the case of the screenshot, the player needs to choose the 5 of Clubs to be able to pick up the 6 of Diamonds. You pick these cards in sequence until there are no more cards left.
If there are no more cards available at play, you will have to draw from the deck below. The last card you've played will be on the side.
Making good plays will grant you a better performance. Your performance bar can be seen on top. Fill up all of the stars to receive more rewards at the end of each level.
If you've made a mistake in dealing another card, you can click on the "Undo" button to undo your last play. Clicking on "Undo" will cost coins from your total.
At the end of a level, you'll be able to see your performance and how many coins you've won. Cards left in the deck will grant you bonus coins and stars at the end of a round. Stars will unlock more levels for you.
Now, let's learn about streak bonuses. You can get a better result by using them.
Streak Bonuses occur when you play several cards in a row, or several cards of the same deck in a row. These will provide you with more coins and stars.
This is how the game's main menu looks like:
- Coins you have will be displayed here
- Levels can be chosen as you play. Each one will have your star performance if you've played them, and a marker will always be placed on the next level.
- The Next Level can be played by clicking in this icon.
- Your Crops can be harvested every hour. When harvesting them, you will gain coins. Harvest them each hour to level up each of them and gain more and more coins every time!
- Settings for the game can be accessed here. You can control the music and sound effects.
- Once you reach level 14, the House can be reached here.
Harvesting can be done each hour. Your harvest icon will be active if it's possible to harvest, and will have a timer counting down if harvesting has been done in the last hour. When harvesting, you can choose to do a normal harvest, or to duplicate your earnings by watching ads.
In the Settings menu, you can select your values for sound and music as you like.
Each time you pick a level to play, you have to pay a specific number of coins. You can also choose specific boosts. We will choose to leave these as a surprise, as you need to reach a specific level to use them.
Tips
- Keep an eye on your coins: You'll earn coins when you play your cards right. Check your balance on the upper left of the board. Use coins to play levels and earn rewards.
- Start a streak: Play multiple cards in a row to start a streak and earn bonuses in your game. You can check your streak meter any time in the top right of the board.
- Playable Cards: When no playable cards are available, tap to deal a new one from the pile. If you miss a playable card, use the undo button to return the card to the board.
- Plan Ahead: Always think ahead to efficiently maximize your options and clear cards.
- Use Boosts Wisely: Save your boosts for challenging levels or when you're close to completing a level.
- Focus on your goals: Watch for specific tasks at each level for extra rewards and bonuses.
Scoring
Unlike other games that we provide, Solitaire Farm Seasons does not post its scores to a leaderboard, as it primarily focuses on level progression.
