Use the list below to navigate specific topics about Block Champ 2.
How to play
Welcome to a brand new direction on a fan favorite! The always popular Block Champ game by Arkadium now has a sequel. Block Champ 2, a way to mix fun, familiar gameplay with a bold new gameplay style.
Block Champ 2 retains the classic 10x10 gameplay from previous games. Select any shape from the panels on the right of your screen. Drag the block to any space that fits, and repeat.
Your goal is to completely fill rows and columns with blocks to remove them from the field.
An entirely new feature to Block Champ 2 is reloading your available blocks. You can now use the Reload boost. This boost is available at the start of a match, but it can run out.
You can, however, reload it by purchasing more with Gems or watching an ad.
The game will appear like this when playing. You'll be able to see the main menu on the top left, as well as your score. The score multiplier, which will increase when clearing several lines at a time, will be on the top right.
The game's brand new Daily Gauntlet Mode can be selected from the top menu. You'll see the number of tries you still have left today.
In the Daily Gauntlet, you will only use specific blocks from a deck. When starting out, you will be able to choose which blocks you'll get to use. You can add up to 3 to remove them from the deck, or you can add blocks to your total.
You'll then get to use those blocks to achieve a specific score, which will be noted at the top. Your score will be on the left, while the objective score will be on the right.
When you clear a level, you'll see the total amount of levels you still have to go through. Finish all of these in a row to receive a final score.
Clearing Gauntlet Mode will get you a Golden Brick, which you will be able to see on the top left of the game.
Tips
Here are some tips and tricks that we hope you find useful:
Block Champ 2 is a game that constantly provides you with a set of 3 random block figures that you must drag and place on a 10x10 grid.
Goal. The goal is simple to understand yet hard to execute - keep placing each figure in a way that allows enough space for the next one and repeats this as long as you can.
General strategy. The main way to keep the grid clear is by completely filling a row or column with blocks. After you do this, those blocks will disappear and grant you bonus points.
Multiplier. If you can place a figure that clears multiple rows or columns at the same time, it will permanently increase your score multiplier for the rest of the game.
NOTE: try to gain multipliers as early as possible because it's a cumulative bonus and there is plenty of free space at the beginning of the game
Lightning tile. Sometimes one block in the figure may randomly have a lightning icon on it. If you line up any row or column with 2 of those lightning blocks, it will clear the whole line!
Frozen tile. However, sometimes one block in a figure may be frozen. When you clear a line that has a frozen block, it will melt and become a regular block. If you clear it again, it will be completely removed. Most of the time, this block makes the game harder, but you can use them to your advantage!
Reload. Use the reload option when you think you don't have good enough tiles. Strategically choose what's best to achieve the best scores!
When you’ve mastered all these tips and tricks, you’ll be able to climb up the leaderboards and become a true Block Champion!
Scoring
The total score of a single move is a sum based on the placed block (count of tiles) and removed lines (count of removed tiles). A lightning clear counts as if the cleared line was full of tiles.
Total Points = Placed Block Size + 10 * Number of Lines Cleared
The game has a multiplier. To increase the multiplier, players have to clear several lines in a single move:
Single Line Clear - No multiplier increase
Double Line Clear - Adds +0.15 to the multiplier
Triple Line Clear - Adds +0.3 to the multiplier
Poker Line Clear - Adds +1 to the multiplier
Penta Line Clear - Adds +1.5 to the multiplier
The increased multiplier from a multiple line-clear move will only take effect on the next score made.
The multiplier applies directly to the scoring, meaning, with a multiplier of x1.5, a move that would score 10 points, scores 15 instead.
